Climate change and the transition towards low-carbon economies involve major struggles over resources, interests and the distribution of costs and benefits. This panel examines the political economy of climate change at domestic and international levels. Papers may analyse fossil fuel interests, green industries, finance, trade, taxation, labour, inequality, energy transitions or corporate power. Contributions exploring the political foundations of economic transformation and conflicts surrounding decarbonisation are especially welcome.
