Description

Many countries and communities in the Global South face severe climate risks despite having contributed relatively little to historical greenhouse gas emissions. This panel examines the political dimensions of climate vulnerability across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Pacific and other regions of the Global South. Papers may address adaptation, loss and damage, climate finance, displacement, inequality, colonial legacies, local resilience or North鈥揝outh relations. Comparative and regionally grounded studies of how climate change reshapes politics and governance are especially welcome.
