¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ

¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ has launched the host city bid process for the 2029 ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ World Congress of Political Science. The bid period runs until 1 March 2026. Following the shortlisting of cities by the Bid Committee, site visits will be organized from May to July 2026. The 2029 host city will be selected by the ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Executive Committee based on the recommendation of the Bid Committee and announced in October 2026.

In accordance with ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ , the bid must be submitted by the authorized person(s) legally representing the national or regional political science association that is an ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Collective member or the organization recognized by ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ. Bids may be submitted by a Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) but must be supported by a national or regional political science association that is an ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Collective member. If a bid comes from an entity from a region/country where there is no national or regional political science association that is an ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ Collective member, ¹ú²ú×ÔÅÄ reserves the right to accept the bid.
