Climate change raises fundamental questions about justice, responsibility, democracy and the relationship between present and future generations. This panel explores the political ideas and normative debates generated by the climate crisis. Contributions may address climate justice, intergenerational justice, responsibility, freedom, democracy, citizenship, rights, ecological political thought or alternative visions of political community. Papers drawing on political theory, political philosophy and the history of political thought to reconsider politics in an era of climate change are particularly welcome.
