International law has become an increasingly important arena for addressing the causes and consequences of climate change. This panel examines how legal norms, institutions and political processes shape climate governance at national, regional and international levels. Contributions may address climate litigation, state responsibility, human rights, environmental agreements, loss and damage, climate justice or emerging legal principles. Papers exploring the interaction between international law, political interests and changing expectations of climate responsibility are especially welcome.
