Climate change is reshaping patterns of human mobility within and across national borders. This panel examines the political consequences of climate-related migration, displacement and relocation. It considers how governments, international organisations and affected communities respond to movements associated with disasters, sea-level rise, environmental degradation and changing livelihoods. Possible topics include internal displacement, cross-border migration, planned relocation, migration governance, legal protection, borders and citizenship, as well as debates over the concept of 鈥渃limate refugees鈥.
