Description

Climate politics increasingly involves actors operating beyond traditional state structures. Cities, regions, international networks, business organizations, civil society groups and transnational coalitions are playing a growing role in addressing climate challenges. This panel explores how authority and decision-making are evolving in climate governance. Papers may focus on networks, partnerships, multilevel governance, non-state actors or emerging forms of climate leadership. Contributions examining new forms of coordination, influence and accountability in climate governance are especially welcome.
