Climate change is increasingly understood as a security challenge affecting states, communities and individuals in different ways. This panel explores the evolving relationship between climate change and security. Papers may examine climate-related conflict, human security, migration, food and water security, disaster risks, military responses, geopolitical tensions or the securitisation of climate change. Contributions addressing how governments, international organisations and local communities define and respond to climate-related security threats are particularly welcome.
